  Being an experienced rider and horse owner did not stop me from having a great ride this weekend. My husband is a non rider and a tall guy so it was nice to be able to just relax and take in the beautiful scenery on well behaved, well cared for horses. I loved how Pam matches the horses to the riders and the other horses to make your ride as enjoyable as possible. We were lucky enough to be able to sneak in a few kisses when stopped along the trail because our horses were close friends. The staff are knowledgeable and gracious. They even provided water bottles for those that forgot to bring some. I highly recommend this company.

  Don't hesitate to book with Hickory Hollow. I've NEVER ridden a horse but Pam and her team were wonderful. So was Viggo. I'll ride with him again. I enjoyed learning about the personalities of the horses as much as the historical info shared by our Battlefield Guide.

  My Bff and I did the 1 hour trail ride and we had a blast. I can't wait for my son to be old enough to take him. The horses were amazing and so were the people. Loved it and will do it again.
